Not all talking therapies are relational and counsellors are different…

Introducing Paula Haigh

Introducing Paula Haigh

Hello and welcome. Are you feeling out of sorts, lost, or not yourself? You may be struggling with anxiety, grief, or other emotional difficulties. Maybe you’re coming to terms with a recent separation, a health condition, or another traumatic life event. Life can be challenging at times and we can find it hard to see a way forward. Pressures placed on us can be unrelenting and take their toll. These can often manifest in unrealistic expectations of oneself, leading to high-stress levels and burnout. Whatever you bring I will hear you.

Understand how your life experiences have shaped you

I’ve had a 30yr career working on the front line with the more vulnerable members of our society, both in community and custody settings. Training to become a relational counsellor has helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of human relationships, which in turn enables me to better assist in offering you the help and support you need.

My goal is always to offer you a space that is entirely yours, where you will begin to understand how your life experiences have shaped you, and how to build emotional resilience and compassion for yourself and your journey. I’m incredibly excited to be able to share this experience with you and help you to rediscover your authentic self.

Paula Haigh - Counsellor
It is good to come and talk when I feel low and it has turned things around. I have felt very safe and at ease.
Counselling has made me see things in a different, more positive light.
I feel that I have regained my confidence.
