Not all talking therapies are relational and counsellors are different…

Introducing Andrea Sutton

Whether you are struggling with a specific issue, low mood or a desire to make sense of life, I am here to help. Through our therapeutic relationship, you will have the opportunity to better understand your life experiences and the dynamics of your relationships. You will be able to develop more compassion for yourself, build greater emotional resilience, let go of past pain and bring forth your innate wisdom and strength to rediscover your authentic self.

Explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours without judgement or shame

Understand how your life experiences have shaped you

Counselling has made me see things in a different, more positive light.

With an empathic, supportive and non-judgemental approach, I offer a warm, confidential space for you to safely explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I have experience of working with adults including young adults and more recently, with older people at Age UK. I have also worked with wounded injured and sick veterans and their families.

Indigo Thinking – the continued discovery of autonomy

Indigo Thinking was created by trainnee counsellors looking for additional support to help them on their journey to becoming qualified.

The goal has always been to encourage each member to tread their own path, promoting autonomy and exploration.

Andrea Sutton, one of our founder members, is doing just that and has chosen to set up her own practice, Darlington Counselling and Wellbeing.

We wish her the very best of luck on her exciting new journey and offer her our continued support.
