Not all talking therapies are relational and counsellors are different…
Introducing Clare Connor
Introducing Clare Connor
Feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed and not sure what to do about it? I can help you to work through some of the challenges and trauma that you have experienced. We can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours without judgement or shame, in a safe space, helping you to build self-resilience and self-belief so you can find a path forward that feels right for you.
I understand how overwhelming it can feel when thoughts, feelings, and behaviours seem out of your your control or don’t make sense. My aim is to provide emotional support so you can explore these experiences safely and at your own pace.
I have worked as a specialist nurse in the NHS for many years and have a wide experience of helping people at difficult and traumatic times in their lives. I am UKCP accredited and in advanced training with the Scarborough Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute. I have now completed my final year of training, I can offer sessions day or evening.
