Our Collective Commitment to Client Care
About Us
Starting therapy requires trust, and we believe transparency about our professional standards is essential. Indigo Thinking is a collective of highly trained Relational Psychotherapeutic Counsellors and Advanced Trainees. We are united by a shared standard of care and a core commitment to ensuring you receive the best possible therapeutic experience.

Our Counsellors’ Support Network
Benefiting You
Most solo practitioners work alone, but our model is different. The collective structure is not just for our counsellors’ professional development; it’s a dedicated system designed to ensure your counsellor is always practising at their most effective.
Maximum Safety and Ethical Rigour
Our counsellors participate in regular, confidential peer support and guidance. This collaborative environment ensures that when a counsellor encounters a complex ethical dilemma or a challenging clinical situation, they have immediate access to the collective wisdom of their highly experienced colleagues.
What This Means for You: You can be confident your counsellor is supported by a robust ethical framework, leading to more thoughtful decision-making and a higher standard of care throughout your therapeutic journey.
Clinical Excellence and Current Expertise
The collective fosters a culture of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and shared learning. Our members regularly discuss new research, training, and clinical insights from a diverse range of specialisms.
What This Means for You: Your counsellor is not static; they are actively growing their skills and expanding their clinical understanding. You benefit from a practitioner who is reflective, resilient, and equipped with the most current insights in Relational Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Rigorous Training and Enhanced Supervision
Our collective includes both fully UKCP Registered Counsellors and Advanced Trainees who are nearing the end of their extensive training. They are not merely students; they are skilled practitioners whose work is subject to a high level of scrutiny and enhanced clinical supervision under the collective’s oversight.
What This Means for You: When you work with one of our counsellors, you benefit from a high-quality, closely supervised therapeutic approach. This dual commitment to excellence and supervision ensures the service remains professional and ethically sound.
